2 Coopersburg, PA Coopersburg, PA Full-time Full-time $17 - $24 an hour $17 - $24 an hour Purpose, Scope, Organization The Manufacturing Systems Technician will be responsible for the following elements of a batch wet processing tool build; sub-assembly builds, decontamination of tools, electrical modifications, mechanical assembly, layout, final testing, tool assembly ownership, installations, tech service, field service, and assist less experienced employees.
This position reports to the Production Supervisor with a dotted line reporting to the Technical Support Engineering Leads for technical direction.
Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing System Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Technician will be responsible for the decontamination of equipment used in the semiconductor wet processing field.
This responsibility requires the proper use and knowledge of PPE, MSDS, and Safety protocols.
Technician will complete sub-assembly builds, electrical and mechanical work, layout, and final testing of semiconductor wet processing equipment to precise customer specifications.
Responsible to be a Tool Owner.
Requires close attention to timelines and to track tool build using whiteboard system.
Will need to communicate clearly to coordinate with coworkers, management, and customer.
Technician will perform tool installations and service repairs of equipment in the field; accomplishment of these tasks requires comprehension of the system and subsystem function, interaction, and operation.
Travel will be required to fulfill these duties.
May mentor other technicians on the production floor with less experience providing guidance and training.
Comprehension and use of engineering releases, flow plans, and electrical schematics.
Use method sheets to follow and understand procedures used at OEM Group.
This will also require the technician to highlight oversights or inaccuracies on documentation and ensure that they are corrected.
Work in team atmosphere adhering to shop practices and guidelines.

Qualifications:
This position requires in-depth knowledge of all areas of responsibility.
He or she must be organized, articulate, forthright, work well under pressure and have a positive communications style.
The jobholder will be required to ensure quality workmanship and promote professional behavior.
Education/Technical Requirements:
2 -year electronics or mechanical discipline diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
3
years' experience as an electro-mechanical tech for in the semiconductor or related industry.
