Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QuickBooks Generalist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the QuickBooks accounting software and be able to manage various tasks related to bookkeeping, financial reporting, and general accounting support.
This role is crucial to the efficient functioning of our organization, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
Key
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day financial transactions using QuickBooks, including but not limited to invoicing, bill payments, expense tracking, and reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
Coordinate with the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments to ensure timely processing of transactions and accurate record-keeping.
Maintain and update vendor and customer information in QuickBooks.
Perform regular internal audits and financial analyses to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

years of experience working with QuickBooks, preferably in a small to medium-sized business setting.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other relevant software.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following ethical accounting practices.
Preferred
Qualifications:
QuickBooks certification or advanced training.
Experience with QuickBooks Online or other cloud-based accounting software.
Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices and regulations.
